Initially known as a blogger, Raditya Dika, 28, is a writer and stand-up comedian known for his TV series "Malam Minggu Miko" ("Miko's Saturday Night"). Originally aired in Kompas TV every week, each episode is also available for streaming on YouTube. A mockumentary, "Miko" is a hit among Indonesian youth with almost 40 million views in total and close to two million subscribers.
2. Aaron Ashab
20-year-old Aaron Ashab is probably one of the most followed YouTuber in Indonesia. He is an Arabic-Dutch Indonesian with a great amount of fans in Twitter and Instagram as well. Aaron has produced a number of comic skits on YouTube which have been viewed by tens of thousands. He is particularly famous for his song covers which are available in various famous platforms such as Soundcloud and Last.fm. His recent videos on YouTube included cover of "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus. To date, he has over 46,346 subscribers on his YouTube channel.
3. Sacha Stevenson
Sacha Stevenson, a 31-year-old Canadian who resides in Indonesian since 2001, rose to popularity after posting Web series "How to act Indonesian". The videos became viral and she became a YouTube sensation overnight. Sacha is also into song writing and singing. One of her original songs, "Budaya" ("Culture"), received thousands of views on YouTube. She has also been invited to numerous television talk shows.
4. The Lopez Group
The famous Indonesian channel Skinnyindonesian24 was created by brothers Andovi da Lopez and Jovial da Lopez. The Lopez group is famous for their unique song covers and hilarious videos. Their videos are extremely popular among youngsters. Andovi and Jovial are currently pursuing their study in University of Indonesia. The group has a number of fans in Indonesia, with more than 66,000 subscribers.
5. Natasha Farani
As the world's most populous Muslim country, Natasha Farani managed to steal hearts of young Indonesian woman with her unique tutorials of how to wear hijab. Natasha currently has almost 40,000 subscribers — most of whom are attracted with her fashionable hijab style.
6. Eka Gustiwana
Eka Gustiwana is Internet-famous for writing his own original songs and covering more popular songs. Not only a singer, he also plays various musical instruments, including guitar and keyboard. Eka, 23, has his own recording studio where he wrote songs for teen sensation Maudy Ayunda and jingles for brands.
